American Staffing is Hiring a Quality-Test Technician Near Fenton, MO
The Quality/ Technician is responsible for tasks that are vital to the overall manufactured product quality assurance and engineering prototyping. This position will be responsible ensuring the quality of incoming parts, as well as the quality of outgoing manufactured product. The Quality/Test Technician is responsible for performing and documenting required test procedures on completed motors. The Quality/Test Technician will also assist in design, and build new model prototypes, documentation of work and assembly instructions for current, and new models.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):
- Experience and strong ability to read and create schematics, wiring diagrams and mechanical prints - required. Able to strictly follow engineering directions or procedures as required.
- H.S. Diploma or GED required, with at least 2 years of experience working in a quality environment.
- Basic knowledge of electric motor theory and construction.
- Experience using a computer for a variety of tasks and competency with Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with the use of Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Power supplies and other typical Electronics/Electrical Lab equipment.
- Ability to multitask (make progress on multiple unrelated projects) and prioritize workload.
- Detail oriented with a focus on quality, execution and follow through.
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and mechanical prints.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Pay Range: $18-20
